Tar Sands rally in Portland: 11:30 a.m. Saturday, January 26, Monument Square. We will meet at 10:45 in the Hannaford parking lot to car pool.
Bottled Life: film about water resources in Maine. Sunday, Feb. 3, 3 p.m. in the library. The price for the use of the library has gone up to $20 per hour. We will pass the hat. Chris Buchanan will speak following the movie. Julie will put up posters. Rosalie and Christine will be in charge of press release and refreshments.

A Billion Rising: A global movement to end violence against women and girls. Feb. 14.
Selma announced that she is trying to interest various colleges in bringing Richard Wolff, economist and author of Occupy the Economy: Challenging Capitalism to Maine. She would like to do a fundraiser so that Occupy can put some money toward his expenses. Ideas for a fundraiser: concert, dance, dinner, raffle.
